Loads materials into machines and operates machine tools to produce finished parts that conform to proper dimensions, inspecting work and performing basic setting/adjusting of the machine to maintain products within specified tolerances. Responsibilities CNC MACHINIST RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Changes settings or programs and tooling inserts in order to achieve the proper dimensions of finished parts, assisting less experienced machinists with more complex or more difficult set-ups.</li><li>Operates one or more machine tools to produce high quality parts in an efficient manner.</li><li>Performs daily and weekly routine machine maintenance in a manner which conserves resources and keeps the machines as productive as possible</li><li>Moves between machines in the cell as directed by area manager. Sets up and operates machine tools within the work cell.</li></ul> Qualifications A high school diploma, or equivalent (GED), is desired but not required. Requires experience with Mills and/or Lathe work experience as CNC Machinist or a 2-year technical degree.
