Essential Duties and Responsibilities/Functions<ul><li>Supervise students on assigned kitchen and diner serving duties.</li><li>Maintain a clean kitchen area and storage area.</li><li>Be able to supervise up to 13 &nbsp;students on cleaning of the kitchen, dining area and other potential jobs.</li><li>Demonstrated and oversee students in how to properly clean kitchen, dining room, serving line and storeroom areas.</li><li>Responsible for putting away all afternoon deliveries, rotating stock, organizing storeroom and walk in coolers/freezers.</li><li>Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.</li></ul>Qualifications (Skills and Abilities Required)<ul><li>High school diploma or GED.</li><li>1 year commercial/institutional kitchen experience.</li><li>Some experience in commercial food safety practice.&nbsp;</li><li>Be able to be sociable and work well with our students.</li><li>Fundamental understanding of food safety practices.</li><li>Through behavior and actions, embraces the core values of Williamson.</li><li>Ability to work in teams or work independently and direct oneself daily.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>This position will be working in the kitchen and dining area as well as storerooms, freezers and walk-in cooling units.</li><li>Work schedule is typically Monday-Friday from 1:00 pm until 7:30 pm</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to lift boxes of food and handle the physical demands of the job including standing and bending, operating cleaning equipment.</li></ul>Supervisory Responsibility<ul><li>Direct supervisory responsibilities are supervising 6 student washing pots, pans and dishes, cleaning and restocking until dinner.
