This position oversees the planning, scheduling, and deployment of software releases, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project timelines. The Release Manager III develops and maintains comprehensive release documentation and metrics, driving continuous improvement in release practices through data-driven insights and analysis of key performance indicators (KPI).This position involves proactive risk management, ensuring potential issues are identified and addressed promptly.As a leader and mentor, the Release Manager III guides junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. By aligning release activities with strategic objectives, this position plays a critical role in driving the success and growth of the organization.Acts as a Subject Matter Expert, serves as a resource and mentor for other staff.<h4>Duties</h4>Release Management:Serve as a subject matter expert in release management processes, leading the planning, scheduling, coordinating, and deploying of software releases across multiple environments. Develop and maintain comprehensive release calendars, plans, and documentation to ensure alignment with project timelines and business objectives. Create and oversee KPIs and metrics to continuously evaluate and improve the release management process.Change Management:Drive the implementation of change management principles and practices, assessing the impact of changes and managing change requests to minimize disruptions. Set strategic release policies and improve processes in alignment with IT goals.Configuration Management:Oversee the use of configuration management tools and practices to ensure consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
