The research professors are expected to form research collaborations with faculty across different departments and external collaborators such as industry, consulting firms, utility companies, national laboratories, and universities. The candidates are expected to sustain extramural funding and supervise a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students and post-docs. With other faculty members, the new hires will play an essential role in training the next generation of water scientists and developing the workforce in the Paso del Norte region. The candidates will work with Civil Engineering faculty members to maintain and expand the Department's research capabilities for water quality analysis and create a recharge center to enable analyses through internal or external requests.Job Requirements:Candidates must demonstrate evidence of research productivity including peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and successful research collaborations.
