The Manager will help support the coordination, development, and submission of the Resolution Plans. The Resolution Planning function is integrated with multiple lines of business, key control functions, and risk management to maintain and create strategies and capabilities that support resolution preparedness. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to learn American Express from a comprehensive perspective while contributing to a key regulatory requirement.How will you make an impact in this role?<ul><li>Provides complex analyses, writing/drafting, and project management related to the coordination, development, and submission of resolution plans.</li><li>Ensures achievement of project objectives on time and in alignment with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Evaluates results, identifies gaps, and draws conclusions to inform the development of an appropriate plan response.</li><li>Help design and build a sustainable long-term resolution planning framework that meets business needs and evolving regulatory expectations.</li><li>Resolve data needs, create data collection templates, and coordinate sourcing and collating inputs from subject matter experts.</li><li>Work with various collaborators to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. Monitor and report on progress, including identification of off-track items, implications to interdependencies, other workstreams and overall project timeline.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>4+ years of Treasury, Finance, Controllership, regulatory or resolution planning experience.</li><li>Strong project management skills: ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and time management.</li><li>Support plan drafting and coordination of subject matter expert inputs and reviews</li><li>Coordinate and support central resolution planning data and process including implementing enhancement</li></ul><ul><li>Results oriented, with a track record of getting results across multiple initiatives.</li><li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and writing skills. Self-motivated, pro-active individual with excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent analytical, risk assessment and investigative skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to see the big picture, make connections and anticipate consequences and outcomes of actions and decisions.</li><li>Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with governance including policies/procedures/controls, preparing materials for internal and external audiences, and coordinating updates for large regulatory submissions.</li><li>Experience working across a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders to achieve a common result.</li><li>Master’s degree in accounting or finance.</li></ul>Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
