As a shop technician, you will guide students, faculty, and staff in their use of the shop's tools as well as its techniques and best practices. You will manage the shop's inventory using WebCheckout, ensure supplies are available for student projects, and help troubleshoot technical issues to enhance the learning environment. You will maintain the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of the shop equipment; provide outstanding customer service and help SCAD students from all academic departments meet their goals with shop resources; and anticipate and enforce all shop policies, procedures, and safety measures.
