Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM &amp; includes flexibility based on department needEssential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Processes applications for actual and potential patients of EBNHC to obtain or maintain eligibility for health coverage not limited to MassHealth (includes disability, 65+, and Buy In), Health Safety Net, Health Connector, Children’s Medical Security Plan.&nbsp;</li><li>Thoroughly and accurately assesses and screens patients to determine probable eligibility for a variety of health coverage programs.&nbsp;This includes comprehensive and an up to date knowledge of the eligibility programs, the eligibility requirements, and covered benefits/services by program, and any out of pocket costs to the patient.​</li><li>Thoroughly and concisely completes applications for eligibility in a timely manner.&nbsp; </li><li>Completes all interface with the state for all applications ensuring that the applications and supporting documentation was completely sent/received.&nbsp; </li><li>Updates EPIC appropriately with coverage, FPL, Enrollment Notices, etc .</li><li>Use all applications and eligibility systems available appropriate to the patient’s situation, specifically, MAP, POSC/ MMIS, etc.</li></ul>Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>HS Diploma/GED.</li><li>Bilingual fluency Spanish/English required.</li><li>Mass Health Experience is preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of all government sponsored health insurance programs</li><li>Previous Customer Service work or volunteer experience required.</li><li>Demonstrated excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.</li><li>Exceptional judgment, initiative, and leadership skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to promote a team environment with proven successful outcomes</li></ul>Pay Range:$21.51 to $32.26 based on experience
