Operation Homefront is sourcing candidates for a Sr. Coordinator, Housing Outreach &amp; Events position in San Antonio, TX or remote.The Sr. Coordinator, Housing Outreach &amp; Events is responsible for providing insight and awareness for housing programs. This position acts as the intake, outreach and events planner to ensure success for donor requirements and housing needs. The Sr. Coordinator, Housing Outreach &amp; Events acts as the focal point for both transitional and permanent housing programs for potential partnerships, employee engagement, events, etc.Desired&nbsp;candidates&nbsp;will&nbsp;have:<ul><li>High School Diploma</li><li>Some college preferred but not required</li><li>2 year’s experience with nonprofit, communication skills, customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and event planning preferred.</li><li>Valid Driver’s License</li><li>Acceptable MVR (annually)</li><li>Criminal Background Check</li><li>MS Office 365</li></ul>Primary&nbsp;job&nbsp;duties&nbsp;include:<ul><li>Coordinate housing events, donor requests and activities between development, communications, donors, regional offices, caseworkers and veterans.</li><li>Conducts outreach to potential partners, colleges, businesses, VA organizations and others with veteran initiative programs.</li><li>Completes initial intake of housing applications for housing programs and provide feedback to the team or assigned caseworker.</li><li>Schedules and presents in person and remote presentations to include new hire orientation for housing programs.</li><li>Provide support to veterans and OH staff while fielding inquiries, conducting the initial intake and vetting of applicants for housing programs.</li><li>Works with the regional offices to promote and share upcoming availability of homes for each program.</li><li>Book travel for veterans and staff for housing program related events.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul>Other Details:General office and sedentary. &nbsp;Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Job Description and RequirementsThe RBFCU Marketing Department is seeking a Marketing &amp; Corporate Communications Events Coordinator with proven experience in event coordination and management. In this position, this individual will plan and execute all external and internal events for lead generation, educational and retention purposes.
